Sophie Kay – Paralegal
Sophie is a paralegal, assisting the firm’s senior solicitors on matters relating to media law – including libel, privacy and copyright – as well as assisting retained clients on contractual, dispute resolution, social media and other matters.
She is a Jules Thorn Scholar of The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple, and recently undertook the Bar Professional Training Course at BPP Law School, following on from her law degree at the University of Bristol.
Sophie has experience in both the legal and media industries, notably mini-pupillages at 5RB and One Brick Court, marshalling Clarke LJ at the Court of Appeal, and placements at the Guardian and Withers LLP. She is also working as the Editorial Assistant to Sir David Eady on the fifth edition of ‘Arlidge, Eady & Smith on Contempt’, and has authored articles on human rights for the NGO Right for Education.
