Jessica Lovell – Director
Jess is an experienced media lawyer, having worked for ITV as a Programme Lawyer – working on shows such as Good Morning Britain, This Morning, Tonight, The Agenda and Exposure.
Prior to joining ITV Jess spent five years at Schillings where she worked with a number of FTSE 100 companies, prominent private companies and high profile individuals, both UK-based and international, to identify, control and mitigate risks to their reputation and protect their privacy. She has particular expertise in pre and post publication libel and privacy issues arising from newspaper articles, television programmes and online publications. She also has an in-depth understanding of the OFCOM Code as a result of her work both at Schillings and ITV.
Jess also has experience of advising clients on various aspects of employment law. She represented Selina Scott during her age discrimination claim against Channel Five as well as advising a hedge fund on an unfair dismissal claim, acting for a director in a discrimination claim and advising well known companies on the implementation of social media policies in conjunction with training of employees on the importance of protecting themselves and their company online.
