Himsworths agrees deal with Professional Cricketers’ AssociationPosted on
The firm are delighted to announce that they have started a long-term relationship with the Professional Cricketers’ Association (the PCA) offering legal, media and social media support to the Association and its members.
The PCA’s Assistant CEO Jason Ratcliffe commented, “We’re really pleased to offer players the experience and expertise that Matt brings in this key area.
‘‘Social media has taken off enormously in recent years and we’ve seen it create both positive and negative outcomes for our members, other sportsmen/women and the general public.
‘‘However, as the landscape continues to develop and challenge, education and better understanding of the opportunities and pitfalls will be vital.
‘‘Modern day cricketers are laying down the first social media ‘footprints’ with implications that could last a lifetime.
‘‘Facebook and Twitter are better known and understood, but with new social media platforms such as SnapChat and Instagram becoming more popular, Matt’s ongoing advice and knowledge will prove invaluable for us all.”
